I go by "Thunderyena" officially, but everyone calls me Sparx. I am a freelance digital artist specializing in character design. I especially love drawing animals; some real, & some from my own imagination.

A handful of examples of my work. I am most familiar with canids & any visually similar animals to them, but I am fully capable of drawing many different species, including humanoids.

feel free to request a particular style you've seen from me, like lineless.'basic' reference includes: 1 flatcolor fullbody + optional small details (eye close-up, simple accessories, etc.) annotations can be added, if desired.'complex' reference includes: anything drastically more than the basic reference, like asymmetrical designs, added headshot(s), complex accessories, etc.i treat customs as references, just with far more back & forth communication between the customer & i. a 'normal' reference is a character with an established design you'd like for me to draw, with or without minimal changes.a 'custom' is having me design the character for you from scratch. a price is decided upon by the final sketch stage (at the latest), based on the complexity of the design & the reference itself. please provide some sort of visual references to go off of. i am open to streaming for input as i work.
Terms of Service
Common Courtesy
Do not alter my work without my permission, which includes but is not limited to directly drawing/coloring over my original work. Adding filters & cropping the image is permissible.Do not trace over or heavily reference my work & post said trace/heavily referenced piece publicly. Tracing & copying for the sake of private study is permissible.Give proper credit denoting my online alias (Thunderyena) when publicly posting my artwork that you commissioned.Do not sell derivatives of my work, including but not limited to: prints, tattoos, keychains, pins, clothing, et cetera.I may refuse to work with anyone for any reason, which I may or may not specify.
Pricing & Payment Policy
The prices of any of my services are subject to change at any time & without warning. Any services paid for by the customer before said price changes will be unaffected by said changes.All payments must be sent through PayPal. For commissions & customs, I require the buyer pays at least half-price (or full, if the buyer wishes) once I show them the sketch. Once the commission is finished, the buyer must pay the rest of what is owed.I will send multiple updates at different stages of progress on the commissioned piece to allow the buyer to request alterations. However, after I have declared the piece finished, any major edits ("major" being at my discretion) will cost extra.Because of this rigorous process that ensures the buyer has multiple opportunities to request free alterations, refunds will NOT be available after the piece's completion.
Character Designs
Once a character I designed has been sold, the new owner is free to do what they wish with said character, as said character is now the new owner's intellectual property. The new owner may: alter the design in any way, shape, or form, resell the design without notifying me, resell the design for more than what they (the buyer) originally paid, et cetera.However, note that I will be reluctant to sell character designs to people renowned for buying characters with the sole intention of "flipping" them (buying [a character design] to sell later for a higher price in order to turn a profit).I may deny selling a character design to anyone for any reason, which I may or may not specify.
